How it works
The MetaTrack Pulsar operates as a fully portable, battery-powered tracking system containing its own integrated power source, which completely eliminates the need for connection to a vehicle’s electrical system. Upon deployment, the Pulsar remains in energy-saving sleep mode until its scheduled wake intervals—typically once per day, though additional wake-ups (up to three per day) can be customised according to user needs. At each wake period, the device transmits the asset’s precise location to the Meta Trak Pulsar app. The app, accessible via mobile phone or web, allows management of multiple assets from a single account. Advanced features such as position requests, geofence breach alerts, theft mode (providing live location every 60 seconds in case of theft), and battery status notifications help users maintain comprehensive oversight. If a theft occurs, Meta Trak’s professional theft recovery team is available 24/7 to work directly with law enforcement for asset recovery.
