PowerBass designed the XL Series for extended low frequency response, and the 10-inch XL-1044 takes full advantage of it, digging down to 28 Hz for genuinely deep bass. A proprietary non-pressed paper cone with a DDC coating delivers smooth, natural low end with low distortion even at high output, while a large-roll Santoprene surround lets the cone move freely for real impact.

Built to stay cool and last

Bass puts heat through a voice coil, so the XL-1044 is built to manage it. A 2-inch vented BASV voice coil former, combined with perimeter and pole Aero-Vent cooling, keeps air circulating to keep temperatures down on long, loud sessions. The non-resonant polycarbonate and glass-fibre turbine-style basket supports dual stack magnets and an extended dome backplate for solid, reliable performance, and chrome push terminals ensure strong current transfer from your amplifier.
