PBX-PRO69CD 6×9 Pro Horn Coaxial Speakers | Safe and Sound
£229.99
- The biggest pro coaxial in the PBX-PRO range — the PBX-PRO69CD 6×9 horn coaxials deliver loud, crisp, full-bodied sound from a large oval cone
- Strongest mid-bass of the line — the extra 6×9 cone area moves more air than the round 6.5in and 8in models
- Compression horn tweeter built in — a 1in aluminium compression horn sits inside the mid for far-reaching pro-audio highs
- Big power in a simple coaxial with an efficient 4-ohm design and a 20oz Y-35 motor
- Grilles included and sold as a pair, so they go straight in with no separate tweeter or crossover to mount
- Supplied and professionally fitted by Safe and Sound, with over 30 years of car audio and installation experience
Pro-audio sound, the easy way, in the biggest size. The PBX-PRO69CD 6×9 compression horn coaxials are the largest pro coaxial in PowerBass’s PBX-PRO range, delivering loud, crisp, full sound from a single drop-in speaker, and at Safe and Sound we have been building and fitting pro-audio systems like this for over 30 years.
Pro-audio sound without the build
A full pro-audio front stage usually means separate mids, horn tweeters and crossovers. The PBX-PRO69CD gives you a big slice of that sound in a single 6×9 coaxial. A 1in aluminium compression horn tweeter sits right inside the mid, delivering the loud, piercing highs pro-audio fans love, with none of the separate mounting and wiring of a component set.
Maximum cone area, maximum impact
As the largest model in the PBX-PRO coaxial line, the 6×9 oval cone of the PBX-PRO69CD moves more air than the round 6.5in and 8in versions, for the strongest mid-bass and the fullest sound in the range. A Hybrid Carbon/DDC treated paper cone, a butyl rubber surround and a 20oz Y-35 motor keep it controlled and composed under power.
Simple to fit, grilles included
Because everything is built into one coaxial, the PBX-PRO69CD is far simpler to install than a separates system. It is sold as a pair and comes with grilles, so there is no separate tweeter, crossover or grille to source. Just fit, wire and go.
