Safe and Sound installs Parksafe pick-up truck front and rear parking sensors professionally to help you manoeuvre your vehicle more confidently in confined spaces. With four sensors at each end of the vehicle, the system provides clear audible guidance when parking forwards or reversing.
Front and Rear Pick-Up Truck Parking Coverage
Pick-up trucks can be difficult to judge when parking because of their length, raised driving position and limited view of low obstacles. This Parksafe system adds four front sensors and four rear sensors, helping you monitor areas that may be difficult to see from the driver’s seat.
The audible warnings become more urgent as the vehicle moves closer to an obstacle, giving you practical guidance while still allowing you to concentrate on your mirrors and surroundings.
Clear Warnings at Both Ends of the Vehicle
The front Parksafe system uses four 58K sensors and an OEM-style audible speaker. The standard installation includes an on-and-off switch, allowing the front sensors to be activated when needed and switched off during normal driving.
An optional CAN bus interface can activate the front sensors automatically when the vehicle slows below approximately 6 mph and switch them off again as speed increases. This provides convenient operation without relying solely on a manual switch.
The rear Parksafe system is connected to the reversing circuit, so it activates automatically when reverse gear is selected. Its wireless cab speaker avoids the need to run a speaker cable from the rear of the pick-up to the dashboard area.
Designed Around Pick-Up Truck Accessories
Pick-up trucks are often fitted with accessories that can interfere with standard parking sensors. This intelligent system can be programmed to recognise permanent equipment such as towbars, rear-mounted spare wheels, steps and nudge bars, helping to reduce unnecessary alerts.
Optional under-bumper housings are also included for the rear sensors, providing additional fitting flexibility where installing sensors directly into the bumper is not suitable.
- Eight-sensor coverage: Four sensors protect the front, and four monitor the rear
- Adjustable audible alerts: Warning tones increase as the vehicle approaches an obstacle
- Wireless rear speaker: Provides cab alerts without a long internal speaker cable
- Programmable obstacle recognition: Helps account for fixed vehicle accessories
- All-weather construction: Suitable for demanding outdoor vehicle use

Professional Installation by Safe and Sound
Sensor height, angle and spacing can affect how accurately a parking system operates. Safe and Sound will assess your pick-up truck, position the front and rear sensors carefully and configure the system around permanent accessories for a tidy, dependable installation.
Colour-matched sensors may also be available where a more discreet, factory-style appearance is required. Parking sensors are a driver aid and should always be used alongside your mirrors, direct observation and normal judgement.
