Pro-audio sound, ready to go
Building a pro-audio front stage from separate parts takes planning. The PBX-PRO65C takes the guesswork out of it by pairing a matched mid driver and horn tweeter with the crossovers, grilles, hardware and wire you need. The result is the loud, forward mids and piercing highs that pro-audio and SPL builds are known for, in a kit designed to work together.
Shallow design for tight spaces
The big advantage of the PBX-PRO65C is its shallow build. With a 2.25in mounting depth on the mid driver, it fits doors, pods and panels that could not take a deeper pro driver, so you can get genuine pro-audio output into a far wider range of vehicles. Note that, like all pro-audio mid-and-horn setups, the system covers the mids and highs and is designed to be paired with a subwoofer for low bass.
Built for output
Each mid driver uses an acoustic phase plug, an accordion cloth surround and chrome push terminals that accept heavy-gauge wire, while the 2in compression horn tweeter pairs a titanium diaphragm with a bullet phase plug for accurate, far-reaching highs. Rated at 100W RMS with an efficient 4-ohm design, the PBX-PRO65C makes the most of your amplifier.
