How the Viper 620V Works

The panel is powered by a small inverter that drives the electro-luminescent surface. Rather than a single point of light, the whole badge illuminates and flashes, which is what makes it readable from a distance and effective in the dark.

The indicator takes a permanent live and ground, and its trigger connects to a negative armed output on the security system — the same output that would normally drive a status LED. We confirm the fitting fee and book a suitable slot at our Chelmsford workshop. If you are also having an alarm or tracker installed, tell us and we will handle both together.

3. Positioning

On arrival we agree where the panel should sit so it is clearly visible from outside without obstructing your view or interfering with sensors and mirrors.

4. Professional Installation

The panel and inverter are mounted, cabling is routed out of sight and the trigger wire is connected to the correct armed output on your system.

5. Test and Handover

We arm and disarm the vehicle to confirm the indicator responds correctly, then hand the vehicle back and answer any questions.
