Super Night Vision 2.0

Experience enhanced video brightness and minimized image noise in low-light conditions with our advanced Super Night Vision technology, ensuring you never miss crucial details while parked. By harnessing image signal processing (ISP) technology and real-time image processing, the system captures significantly greater detail at night. With the 2.0 version, enjoy the flexibility of using Continuous Mode in addition to the original Parking Mode.

Parking mode is a feature of dash cams that are either hardwired or use the OBD2 Connector. It allows them to continue recording while your car is parked and turned off. All Thinkware dashcams continuously monitor the health of the vehicle’s battery and will shut down if they detect any issues.

Please note: A hardwire or OBDII cable installation is required for Parking Mode functionality.

The device enters a sleep state and, upon detecting an impact through the integrated G-sensor, activates within a second to record for the subsequent 20 seconds.

GPS Mapping

With GPS, all Thinkware dash cams can record the vehicle’s driving speed and provide its precise location and route identification on the map. The GPS Tracker helps you accurately assess the details of the surrounding area. The PC/Mac viewer can then provide you with the vehicle speed, the time of a collision, and the severity of any impacts.

The intuitive and simple-to-use interface of Thinkware Dash Cam allows you to view your recorded videos quickly and conveniently. The PC or Mac viewer will let you playback and download recorded videos. With a few clicks on the viewer, you can change the dash cam settings, format the memory card, or install updates.

High Dynamic Range

Discern even more details, whether dusk or dawn, thanks to the Q850’s HDR technology, which enhances contrast and improves the clarity of all recorded front-view videos. Experience Digital Overlap High Dynamic Range (DOL HDR) and Noise Reduction Technology to minimize noise and mitigate lens flare effects that typically impact nighttime footage.

Multiple Recording Modes

This mode is activated automatically when you start the engine. Recorded videos are saved in one-minute segments with an auto-looping mechanism.

The Active Impact Monitoring System will automatically store video data ten seconds before and after a collision registered by the 3-axis G-Sensor.

Like a video camera, you can use Manual Recording Mode to capture events in front of your vehicle, whether or not they are in motion.

If the power gets disconnected after an accident, the fail-safe recording uses the supercapacitor for backup power to ensure safe storage of any recording in progress.

Anti-File Corruption

Eliminates data corruption and the need for frequent formatting. Anti-file corruption protects against data loss and fragmentation, prolonging the card’s lifespan.

The dash cam’s specially designed heat discharge construction and built-in thermal sensor protect the device and its data against intense heat by automatically turning it off to prevent overheating.
