How it works

The ScorpionTrack Quantum3 remains in a dormant state until it is activated, which occurs upon the first detection of movement after a special magnet is removed from the unit. Once active, it reports its location at the beginning and end of each journey, with an additional update five minutes into the trip. It also performs a daily health check to report its status, ensuring the device is operational.

Control and monitoring of the ScorpionTrack Quantum3 are handled through the user-friendly ScorpionTrack mobile app and web portal. Through the app, users can arm or disarm the tracker, set up “Safe Zones” (geofences), and view the last known location of their asset. If the asset moves without authorization or leaves a designated Safe Zone, the system will send an alert to the owner.

While it provides these powerful security features, it’s important to note that the Quantum3 is designed for asset security and recovery rather than real-time tracking, so it does not provide a live-tracking feed or a detailed journey history.
