The ScorpionTrack DRIVER S5 tracker and Sterling CAT 2 immobiliser package delivers insurance-approved tracking and automatic engine immobilisation in one installation, supplied and covertly fitted by Safe and Sound. If your insurer has asked for an S5 tracker, a CAT 2 immobiliser, or both, this package meets the requirement while keeping day-to-day driving completely effortless: carry the fobs, and everything else happens by itself.

Hands-Free Immobilisation with the Sterling CAT 2

The Sterling Excel CAT 2 is a Thatcham Category 2 accredited immobiliser that arms itself automatically within 30 to 60 seconds of your ignition switching off. It will only allow the engine to start when one of your two supplied proximity fobs is inside the vehicle, so there is no PIN to enter and no routine to learn. Dual-circuit immobilisation means a thief cannot start your engine even with your keys, and there are no ongoing costs for the immobiliser.

The ScorpionTrack DRIVER S5 VTS is a Thatcham Category S5 accredited tracking system, the grade insurers typically specify for high-value, sports, classic and prestige vehicles. Its Automatic Driver Recognition works on the same effortless principle as the immobiliser: carry your encrypted DRIVER ID fob and the system stays quiet; if the vehicle moves without one, whether driven, towed or lifted, the 24/7 control room receives an instant alert and contacts you to confirm whether a theft is under way.

• 24/7/365 monitoring by a staffed control room with police liaison during recovery
• 4G connectivity with GPS, GLONASS and Galileo satellite positioning
