Unlike a basic single-cone speaker, the S-3502 is a true 2-way coaxial. A dedicated 0.5″ PEI dome tweeter with a neodymium magnet and SEL (Sound Expander Lens) ring adds clarity and a wider spread to the high frequencies, while a DDC-coated 2-layer paper cone keeps the mid-range smooth and detailed. The result is a clear, balanced sound from the same head unit and wiring.
Designed to fit almost anywhere
The S-3502 uses a zero-protrusion tweeter design and a shallow 1.5″ mounting depth, so it fits neatly into the tight dash and door openings that 3.5″ speakers usually live in, across a wide range of vehicles. An EFF (Efficient Flux Field) motor structure and a rigid tooled basket keep the design efficient and solid, and the speakers are supplied as a pair.
